In addition to her professional directing work, Eliyana Abraham is an educator and teaching artist committed to helping students pursue their dreams in the arts and beyond. Eliyana has been teaching musical theatre, dance, and acting for nearly a decade. She got her start at Acting Naturally Theatre in Langhorne, PA, where she taught youth musical theatre classes and directed and choreographed musicals including Godspell Jr, Beauty and the Beast Jr, Annie, and many more. She has continued her work in NYC schools including P. S. 9, P. S. 334 (The Anderson School), and Little Red Elizabeth Irwin High School (LREI). She also teaches private acting lessons for young performers.
Eliyana's work as an educator is at the intersection of the arts and STEM. Outside of the theatre, Eliyana also tutors students of all ages in STEM subjects including mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Her expertise at the intersection of STEM and the arts is informed by her unique educational background, having studied both Neuroscience and Musical Theatre at Princeton University.
